I will post on an irregular basis as, I am guessing, that there will be more important things to do on many days but I hope to post regularly enough to make it worth visiting every so often.

In this blog I discuss any research topics which capture my attention. This will mostly be related to my own research but I may also stray onto other people's work. My own interests include sports scheduling and prediction, heuristics, meta/hyper-heuristics, genetic algorithms, ant colony optimisation, simulated annealing and tabu search.
